Easy on, easy off! These 65% mohair/35% nylon climbing skins with Contour Hybrid construction require minimal effort to pull apart and remove from the ski-and they stay on after repeated laps in cold weather.
Our BCA Hybrid climbing skins check all the boxes – good grip, good glide, easy to trim, easy to stash, and hybrid glue that works in a variety of conditions. Most of all, they pull apart easily. No regluing necessary: just wipe down the adhesive layer to restore tackiness. Includes flush metal top loop and adjustable tail hook, cleaning wipes, stuff sack, and easy-to-use offset trim tool to fit these skins to your sidecut.
How to Choose Skins Width When selecting the skin’s width, you must look up your ski’s dimensions. The idea is to pick a skin width that’s a few millimeters less than or any amount more than the widest part of your ski (generally near the tip). If the widest part of your ski is 130mm you could pick a 130mm or wider climbing skin. To save weight and cost, consider a skin width greater than or equal to ski waist width.
Our Atomic Backland 22+ is a state-of-the-art alpine touring backpack made to make life easier for endurance and adventure touring. It’s also reflective for night touring.
When you're on the mountain, the last thing want to do is waste time fumbling through a pack looking for the one piece of gear that fell to the bottom, especially when you're wearing gloves. The SnoBlast's tri-zip design lets you choose between opening the top of the pack, or unzipping it down the side to instantly access all of your gear. This versatile, compact pack is perfect for carrying your lunch, shed layers, helmet and 2 liters of hydration for a full day on the slopes. Unzip the size panels, and the SnoBlast expands to offer an extra 6 liters of storage for additional gear. When you really want to load up, the external attachment points let you carry a helmet and snowshoes on the outside of the pack. The Therminator™ harness also keeps your insulated drinking tube zipped securely into the shoulder strap, which keeps it from freezing in cold weather.
